WAMBA are the Awesome Foundation Perth's August grant winner. This grant supports the Trail Builder Accreditation Program, which will provide a framework for educating volunteer trail advocates to gain skills, knowledge and experience. The grant application was submitted by Louise Wallace but unfortunately, Louise couldn't collect the grant so she sent this ninja ... I mean, she sent Sam Russell to collect the award on WAMBA's behalf.

Great news for riders in Dunsborough. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Myles Happ, the Cape Mountain Bikers have been awarded $100,000 from the 2015 Lotterywest Grants trails round for construction of trails in the Meelup Regional Park.

Mountain Bike Australia (MTBA) have announced the dates for the next two year's National series and the great news for WA is that there will be XC rounds at Pemberton Mountain Bike Park in January 2015 and 2016.

Well done to the tireless efforts of Tony Tucknott and Mark Hudson.

As happy as a pig in shit!

Construction has started on a bunch of new trails to be opened for this years XC State Champs in The Pines. We are letting JD loose on the descents and we will be calling on volunteers after the WAGE race to assist with a number of connections. The new trails will extend lilly trail and connecting to Big Pine. The trails will provide an alternate loop while pines remain and will be the only loop once the western side of the pines is logged.

Entries are open for the 2015 State Downhill State Championships, hosted by Peel District Mountain Bike Club, at the Goat Farm on 30th & 31st August.

See the Peel website for entry details and more information.
